My name means beloved life. My parents wanted me to know that my own life is beloved (my mom had a quite complicated and high risk pregnancy) and they wanted me to love life. Their wish came true. My hope here is to share my thoughts on life and what makes life lovely. I am a cradle Catholic married to an amazing protestant. We met while obtaining our Master’s degrees in theology from Gonzaga. Yes, our dinner conversation is sometimes…unique. I am largely influenced by a movement called Heart’s Home, which focuses on presence, hospitality and compassion. I am a teacher, although I am currently staying home with my two beautiful children. We are abundantly blessed to live on 12 glorious acres and experience the seasons in all their fullness. Some themes I will probably be writing about include: faith, slowing down, presence and hospitality, ecumenism, nature, ministry, summer camps, motherhood, grief, health issues, education and a book review or two. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m excited to see where it takes us.
